We realized that between me and my 2 quarter-jewish kids, we add up to one full jew in the house. For the first night of Hanukkah I smoked some fish and my beautiful shiksa wife handmade challah bread, potato latkes, and roasted applesauce. Jewish cuisine may not be known for its vibrant and exotic plating - but it tasted damn good.
